1/2 lb asparagus, trimmed and halved
1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved
1/2 medium avocado, cubed
1/2 cup sliced basic leaves
1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Steam asparagus for 5 to 7 minutes until fork tender. Place asparagus, tomatoes, avocado and basil in a large bowl. Stir in olive oil, lemon juice and mustard. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Serve as a side with your favorite protein!
