Lemon Roasted Green Beans with Almonds

Lemon Roasted Green Beans with Almonds

Ingredients
1/2 lb green beans, trimmed
1/2 medium onion, cut into wedges
1/2 tbsp marjoram
1/2 tbsp grapeseed oil
sea salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/4 cup almonds, chopped

Directions
Position one rack in top third and one rack in bottom third of oven and preheat to 450 degrees. Grease a large rimmed baking sheet. Combine green beans, onion wedges, and marjoram in large bowl. Drizzle with oil, then sprinkle with sea salt and pepper. Toss and place in a single layer on baking sheet. Roast vegetables 15 minutes on bottom rack, then place on top rack and continue to roast until beans are tender and beginning to brown in spots, about 10 minutes longer. Transfer vegetables to bowl. Add lemon juice, grated lemon peel, and half of chopped almonds. Toss to coat; season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with remaining almonds.
