3 cups organic raw nuts
1-2 tbsp coconut, almond, or macadamia oil
sea salt, to taste
vanilla extract, to taste
raw cacao nibs
grade B maple syrup
Add the nuts to the bowl of a large food processor and grind to a fine powder (this can take several minutes). Slowly add oil and blend until smooth and creamy (or if you like crunchy, you can blend until the desired consistency is reached). It may take anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes for the butter to become completely smooth and creamy. If you choose to add one of the optional ingredients, do this at the very end.
