Walnut Dip

1 cup garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2-3 tsp lemon juice
sea salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp filtered water

Drain beans. In a blender or food processor, combine beans with 2 tbsp. water and the remaining ingredients. Cover and blend until smooth. Add additional liquid as needed and scrape sides of bowl periodically.
