What’s the difference between 1:1 coaching and small-group coaching?

Group coaching is powerful for connection and accountability with others who are on a similar journey. It’s supportive, inspiring, and you’ll never feel alone in the process. But 1:1 coaching is a completely different ballgame. 1:1 coaching is fully personalized: we dig into your symptoms, genetic background and mutations, stress levels, activity levels, sleep patterns, current food behavior patterns, past lab results, and much more... and build a plan made only for you.

It’s concierge-level support: you have direct access to Carly’s personal cell between sessions, the accountability is next level, and the coaching is tailored to every nuance of your life. This sacred relationship is about deep transformation and personalized guidance that you simply can’t get in a group setting.

What’s the difference between the Advanced Detox course and the End Emotional Eating course?

Advanced Detox focuses on physiological reset: cellular detox, gut support, and metabolic clarity. End Emotional Eating targets the psychology and behavioral patterns around food, triggers, coping strategies, and mindset rewiring. Many clients do both for a powerful synergy.

How do I know if I’m ready for 1:1 coaching?

If you’re tired of quick fixes, ready to do the inner work, and want a plan tailored to your biology and life, you’re ready. If you prefer community learning first, consider a course or cohort to see how the method fits your life.

Do I get support from Carly while taking the courses?

Courses do not include live support. Individualized coaching with Carly is available separately for deeper, tailored work.

Why do I need to apply for group coaching? Can’t I just join?



We use an application to make sure the cohort is the right fit—so group dynamics stay supportive and every member gets the attention they need. It helps us keep groups small, focused, and transformational.

How is Carly’s approach different from other nutrition coaches?

Carly combines functional testing and nutrition with psychology and habit design, so we fix biology and the thinking that sabotages it. It’s not a diet; it’s a method for permanent change.

How often will I meet with Carly (or her coaches)?

Frequency depends on the program: The Wellness Starter Sessions are three focused meetings; most 1:1 clients meet weekly or biweekly; group cohorts meet weekly or biweekly during the active program. Exact cadence is shared at enrollment so expectations are clear.

Where did Carly get her training and credentials?

Carly holds a Master’s in Holistic Nutrition and Bachelor’s in Nutrtion. She is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist, CHEK certified, is also the bestselling author of Feed Your Soul. She founded Nutritional Wisdom in 2010, before that she piloted the first ever nutrition coaching program for Whole Foods Market.

What kind of results can I expect, and how long will it take?

Many clients notice shifts in energy, digestion, and cravings within weeks with true, lasting change typically unfolding over months. Think in terms of progress (weeks) and permanence (months). We focus on measurable wins and habits you can sustain.


Are your programs covered by insurance or HSA/FSA accounts?

Our services are not covered by insurance. Some clients use HSA/FSA funds for consultations, check with your plan administrator for eligibility.

Do you offer virtual coaching if I don’t live nearby?

Yes, we are 100% virtual. Our work is built to fit real life anywhere in the world.


Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, payment plans are available on many programs. Details are provided during enrollment.

What’s included in the online courses?

Each course includes step-by-step lessons, practical exercises, and downloadable tools. Depending on the course, you may also get worksheets, videos, and guided practices to change habits for good.

What if I’ve “tried everything” and nothing has worked—how is this different?

If past approaches failed, it wasn’t your fault. Most plans ignore the psychology and subtle biology that perpetuate cycles. We address root causes and mindset simultaneously, so patterns actually change.

How long do I have access once I purchase?

Lifetime access is included so you can revisit lessons whenever you need a refresh.
