It’s Thanksgiving, and whatever you’re doing I hope you have a peaceful, joyful, and relaxing day. I know that for sure won’t happen if you eat or drink too much, so instead of restricting yourself, remember my mantra:
“I can have my cake (unhealthy food) and eat it too (health and confidence in my body), I just can’t eat that much cake.”
This mantra means that I can slide a little bit where it counts, but I can’t press the f&ck it button completely and expect to maintain my health and sanity. Here’s another gem:
The all-or-nothing mentality is the gateway drug to the f&ck it button.
Ok, I’ll stop speaking in codes (it’s the hormones I tell you), and lay it out simply:
Here’s an old video I made about eliminating the second helping. It’s my secret to “having my cake and eating it too”. No matter what goes on my plate (it’s a tower of stuffing in case you are wondering), I never go back for the second helping.
